E/C.12/UZB/CO/2 31. The Committee invites the State party to update its common core document in accordance with the harmonized guidelines on a common core document (HRI/GEN/2/Rev.6, chapter I). 32. The Committee requests the State party to submit its third periodic report, prepared in accordance with the revised reporting guidelines of the Committee, adopted in 2008 (E/C.12/2008/2), by 30 May 2019. 11

Summary: In their Concluding Observations of Uzbekistan, the CESCR provides recommendations to the State party to take measures to address poverty and corruption, and to promote nondiscrimination, gender equality, and the rights to work, social security, food, housing, health, water and sanitation, and education, and those of people with disabilities. The Committee recommends the State party provide sufficient budget allocations to address these issues and promote the realization of these rights.
