Summary: In their Concluding Observations of Peru, the CRPD recommends the State party bring its legislation into conformity with the Convention, take specific measures to ensure active participation of persons with disabilities, gather data for statistics of indigenous and minority groups with disabilities, eradicate and prevent discrimination against women and girls with disabilities, invest the maximum available resources into the protection of children with disabilities, particularly indigenous and minority children, and progressively realize the range of ESCR for persons with disabilities. The Committee recommends that the State party allocate sufficient budgetary resources toward these ends.
